Accessibility Statement

This page was written to comply with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018 and reflects Jupu's commitment to making its service usable by everyone, in line with the Equality Act 2010.

Compliance status

We aim to conform to the WCAG 2.2 AA standard. We continuously work toward full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance across the web and PWA interfaces. As with any evolving product, some areas may not yet meet every criterion, and we review and update this statement after each significant release or annually.

What we've done

  • Keyboard-navigable interactive elements with visible focus indicators.
  • ARIA labels on icon-only buttons and primary navigation.
  • Semantic HTML and logical heading structure.
  • Colour contrast targeting WCAG 2.2 AA minima, including across dark mode.
  • Alt text on meaningful images and loading="lazy" for gallery images.
  • Support for prefers-reduced-motion where animations are used.

Known limitations

  • Some third-party embeds and legacy image galleries may not yet expose full keyboard or screen-reader support.
  • Live auction and raffle countdown widgets use dynamic updates that we are actively making fully accessible.

Reporting accessibility problems

If you find an accessibility issue, please contact us at dpo@jupu.app. Please include the URL of the page and a description of the problem. We aim to respond within 5 business days, in line with the Equality Act 2010.
